Automatic sandblasting machine _ gas system investigation steps _ sandblasting equipment source factory

The automatic sandblasting machine relies on stable compressed air as the power source. The air circuit system is the core module that determines the uniformity of sandblasting, the processing quality and the continuous operation of the equipment. Problems such as unstable air pressure, pipeline leakage, pressure regulating valve failure, and oil-water separation failure will directly cause fluctuations in sandblasting force, broken sand of the spray gun, and inconsistent surface treatment effects of the workpiece. In severe cases, it will also increase abrasive loss, accelerate the wear of the spray gun nozzle, and affect the production rhythm of the entire production line. As the source factory of sandblasting shot blasting equipment, we organize standardized air circuit system investigation steps to help equipment operators and maintenance engineers quickly locate faults, reduce downtime, and ensure the long-term stable operation of the automatic sandblasting machine.

Before starting the investigation, be sure to abide by the safety regulations: stop and cut off the total air source of the equipment, release the residual pressure inside the pipeline, wear protective equipment, and strictly prohibit the disassembly of valves, joints and trachea under pressure to avoid safety accidents caused by high-pressure airflow and abrasive ejection. After confirming safety, check step by step from the upstream air source to the downstream execution end, without skipping the process, which is convenient for locking the fault point.

The first step is to check the air source input. Check whether the output pressure of the air compressor reaches the working air pressure required by the equipment nameplate, and confirm that the air compressor dryer and pre-filter are running normally. If the water and oil content of the air source exceed the standard, the oil and water will mix into the grinding bin, causing the abrasive to agglomerate and block the gun. This is the most common fault of the automatic sandblasting machine. Record the air pressure difference between the no-load air pressure and the sandblasting operation. If the pressure drops rapidly under the load state, it indicates that the gas supply capacity of the air source is insufficient or there is a leak in the main pipeline.

The second step is to check the main road gas circuit components. Check the air storage tank, pressure regulating valve, pressure gauge, and oil-water separator in turn. Observe whether the pressure gauge value is stable, whether the pressure regulating knob is sensitive, and whether the pressure cannot be increased or the pressure is continuously relieved. Check the water and oil accumulation in the oil-water separator, and discharge the waste liquid in time; if the filter element is black or blocked, replace the filter element directly to avoid impurities from entering the rear end control valve and spray gun.

The third step is to check the leakage of the branch pipes and joints. Check the leaks one by one along the trachea, hard pipe, quick connector, tee, and solenoid valve positions. You can use soap to apply it to the connection position to observe whether air bubbles are generated. Focus on checking the hose that moves frequently. Long-term bending is prone to inner cracking, which belongs to hidden air leakage, which is difficult to directly detect with the naked eye. All joints that are loose and the sealing ring is aging and damaged should be tightened or replaced in time.

The fourth step is to detect the air path of the sand valve and the spray gun. The multi-channel air paths of the sand control gas, jet gas and make-up air of the automatic sandblasting machine need to be tested separately. Open the air path separately and close the sand material supply to see if the air outlet of each channel is smooth and whether the air flow is large or small. Check the response speed of the solenoid valve and observe whether the air supply of the spray gun is synchronized under the reciprocating and conveying actions. If the spray gun stops when spraying, most of the solenoid valves are stuck or the control air pressure is insufficient.

The fifth step is to check the no-load test machine and parameters. After completing the maintenance and assembly, slowly enter the compressed air, run the equipment without load, and observe that the air pressure throughout the process remains stable and the pressure gauge does not jump significantly. Debug the pressure regulating valve to the process set pressure, test the spray state of the spray gun, confirm that the airflow is stable, and then add the abrasive test spray workpiece to verify whether the sandblasting effect is restored to standard.

In daily maintenance, it is recommended to establish a regular inspection ledger, do a simple leak detection once a week, and maintain the gas circuit components in depth every month. In addition to the supply of standardized models, as the source manufacturer, we can provide automatic sandblasting machine customization, parts supply, on-site technical guidance services, and complete equipment maintenance manuals and fault solutions to help customers do a good job in equipment operation and maintenance and improve production efficiency.
